Turkey Day

Well once again I have slipped and haven't written in a while...

Not much new with us. We are going to Rocky's parents this weekend for the Thanksgiving festivities. I will pretty much just be eating and taking off since I am going to go to dinner with my 2 bestest friends that night. Can't wait to see them! I believe we are going to go to Red Lobster. Yum!!!!!! Rocky is just going to stay at his parents with Paige and hang out with his brother that night.

We had a good Thanksgiving yesterday. I made turkey and all that good stuff. I was pleasently surprised at how the turkey turned out, it was nice and moist! Also found out that Paige LOVES cranberry sauce!! :) She seriously ate half a can of it yesterday. She's so funny. Barely touched anything else on her plate but kept asking for more cranberries!

Other than that.... Paige and I had a good weekend last weekend at my parents. It was so nice to have an extra day to spend there with them. Can't wait til Christmas when I get to see them again!!! Hopefully the pool table they just got is all done by the Christmas party so we can have a tournament! We did play lots of darts this weekend though, and I must say I had a lot of fun doing that with them. I think once the pool table and everything is done and if Dad gets a bar made and put down there that it will be quite the fun little spot to hang out at!

On a random note... Paige is growing up so fast. I can't believe she is going to be 2 in a month!!! It seems like just yesterday that I was in the hospital in labor... wow... how time flies.

Well have a wonderful weekend!! I am sure I will!

Crazy day

Uh, today was such a crazy day at work. We were off yesterday because of Veterans Day, which was awesome, but we totally pay for it the next day at work being closed the day before. :( It was just a weird day all around. There weren't enough tellers to begin with and we were busy all day. Boo. I guess it made the day go by faster though so I shouldn't complain.

In other news of the day... they shot a new commercial for the Credit union today and they wanted me to be one of the people in it, so I said sure. There were about 6 of us sitting around a big table in one of our conference rooms and our CEO was standing up talking to us. There isn't any sound since they have someone narrate stuff over the commercial part of it so we just sat and chatted ect while they filmed. It took about a half an hour and I had to sign a waiver and everything. It was all kind of a weird experience, but fun. Especially since I got to leave the teller line for 1/2 an hour! WooHoo!

Paige has mastered her first 3 sylible(sp?) word. She says "Diego" and it's pretty clear. Clear enough where you can understand it. I think she is doing pretty well with her speech. I was kind of worried there for a while because there was a little girl Paige used to play with (they lived next to us but moved about a month ago) and her speech was so good and so clear, she was even starting to make sentences and she was just 6 months older than Paige, and Paige was no where near that. Still isn't with the sentences part, but she is adding more words to her vocabulary everyday and getting soooo smart! She loves pizza. Or as she says it "Pia, Pia!!" We had it for supper tonight and she ate 2 pieces!!! 2!!!!! She must have been hungry because she NEVER eats that much! She is such a little sweetie.

First snow!

It snowed for the first time this year on Thursday and Rocky took Paige outside to play in it while I was at work. Looks like she loved it! I am looking forward to taking her out when there is more snow so she can play! I am sure there will be plenty more soon... :(

Just thought this picture was hilarious!
Plus it shows my awesome new haircut the best!

Ooops!

OK, so I haven't blogged in a little over a week. Ooops! I am really bad at this blogging thing I think. Though I suppose there is no set amount you have to blog, but I suppose you should probably do it at least every couple days. Anyway... Last weekend was SOOOO FUN!!! It was awesome to see my family and spend time with them and Pinz' birthday party was super fun also!!! Had the best time partying with everyone and met some really cool new people! Big thanks goes out to my Mom for watching Paige so I could go out with my peeps! Rocky wasn't able to come and he missed out on an excellent time! The night went WAY too fast though.

Other than that.... Rocky is doing a LIVE tournament this weekend with his brother and a couple of their buddies up by the cities, so it's a girls weekend. Paigers and I are here by ourselves. :) Today we danced to Christmas music (yes, I am a Christmas freak!), colored in her Dora coloring book, went to WalMart to pick up a few things including her new winter boots, cooked supper, read some books and then I just gave her a bath and put her to bed. Haven't heard anything from her in about 10 minutes now so I think shes out!
Not that I like Rocky to be gone, but it was nice having something different for supper. Rocky is a tried and true "meat and potatoes" guy, which I don't mind, but I really like all different kinds of food like chinese and mexican. He won't touch any of that. So tonight I made Paige and I shrimp fried rice. Yummy!!! Paige liked it also, she ate quite a bit of it, along with some blueberries (her favorite!)
Anyway... I suppose I better go. I think I am going to curl up with a blanket on the couch and watch a movie tonight...
